曲突徙薪 [qū tū xǐ xīn]
1 有一家的烟囱很直，旁边堆着许多柴火，有客劝主人改建弯曲的烟囱，把柴火搬开，不然有着火的危险，主人不听，不久果然发生了火灾(见于《汉书·霍光传》)。比喻事先采取措施，防患于未然。
