With its origin in Germany E.G.O. has its international headquarter today in Switzerland. In more than 20 countries around the world, E.G.O. group has its production & sales subsidiaries. In 1999 the E.G.O. group started the first production plant and sales office in China, in Jiading, located along the northwest outskirts of Shanghai. E.G.O. China has developed its local production using the same international standards and modern technologies representative of E.G.O.
The Chinese location has enabled E.G.O.to strengthen the market position and to localize our footprint in China as well as the rest of Asia. This follows our core belief to always deliver the greatest value to all our customers worldwide by transferring our innovations and production systems closer to our customers.
In 2012 E.G.O.’s China facility relocated to Taicang, a neighbor city of Shanghai. With 28000 square meters, the new facility has more than double the capacity of the old factory. This investment in China has enabled E.G.O. to continue broadening our local R&D, which is an important step for our future success in Asia.
