天合汽车科技（上海）有限公司于2011年8月1日正式在安亭汽车零部件园区注册成立，是美国天合汽车集团下属全资子公司，天合科技总投资四千万美元，主要产品为转向柱式及带式电子转向产品，二期扩建完成后亚太技术中心将计划于2013年第三季度完成投入运行，投资超三千万美元 。原天合汽车零部件的部分电动助力转向柱式传动产线将一并在2013年3月正式转移至天合科技。天合科技将为天合在中国继续发展电动助力转向传动系统类产品奠定坚实的基础。

时光飞逝，从2011年8月动土建厂至今转眼已一年过去，从一片空地到建成的占地22687m2 的厂房以及12条生产线的安装配备。天合科技的主要两大类产品为：第一， 电动助力转向柱式传动系统，主要客户为福特、马自达、长城、菲亚特、长安、吉利等；第二，电动助力转向带式传动系统，主要客户为福特、通用、长城、上汽等。随着天合科技业务的发展，我们的队伍在未来将不断壮大，预计到2017年底，天合科技的人数将达到774人，销售额达到7.1亿美金，到2021年将达到1000多人，销售额达到9.6亿美金。
