Ltd. in Shanghai, China, a Joint Venture between ABSG Consulting Inc. and Shanghai Inspection Company), is one of the branches of ABS Consulting (ABSG Consulting, Inc., a legal entity in New York, and the operation in Houston, the State of Texas), an affiliate of the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). The entire ABS Consulting - Shanghai has around 100 experienced technical personnel, all of whom are with engineering/ technical degrees, and/or trade association certifications such as ASME Authorized Inspectors, AWS Certified Welding Inspectors, PED Authorized Inspector and etc. Many of the field representatives are multi-lingual, and regularly inspect to recognized national and international standards.The more than 150-year history of the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) has served as a strong foundation for ABS Consulting.
